just like to say hi to you all as i joined today, i purchased one of these bundles at overclockers shop the spec is OVERCLOCKED* Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz @ 4.00GHz Max / Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Intel X58 Motherboard / Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz DDR3 Bundle, sapphire ati radeon hd 5850 and a corsair tx 650w power supply, these are going into my antec 900, is there any way that i could have improved as i'm working on a budget.

The noctua fans are pretty quiet but they do shift a lot of air, theyre a really good quality fan.
yesterday finally got round to setting up my new system but i have a problem already, got a western digital cavair black 500gb hard drive that will not show up in the standard cmos no matter what setting under sata that i put it at including auto detect, i also enabled sata under integrated peripherals. i have also tried different cables, just haven't got a clue what the problem is or if the hard drive is even working. the problem with me is that i am used to using ide hard drive where you just bung it in and bob's your uncle, any help or ideas on how i can proceed would be appreciated. details of my motherboard is at the top. forgot to mention that the hard drive is brand new straight out the box.
