Newly Arrived LG GL850 - IPS Glow

Well got a good one after all, IPS glow is minimal and can't even see it in use anyway with no stuck pixels yet.
It is as good as they say it is, everything looks stunning. I would imagine 4k would be even better but it will be 3 or 4 years before I find out.

I could be way off here but have you run the cleartype setup within Windows? If your subpixel arrangement was different on your other monitor, it may needs adjusting for your new one.

i just setup this monitor on my work laptop anyone know what this issue is with the text striping

Have to agree, been using mine for a week now in replacement of an older TN panel BenQ XL2420T 24" 120hz and the difference is amazing. The older TN panel had terrible backlight bleed and haven't noticed anything like that on this LG, though that could just be years of worsening eye sight!

I've also been lucky no stuck or dead pixels - my heart did sink at first but after a wipe down with a microfiber cloth it turned out to be something from the packaging - it didn't immediately blow off so makes me wonder how many people may return monitors without giving this a proper a go first!
