Take everything apart and rebuild *out of the case* using a minimal ammount of componants.
Then short the on/off jumpers on the main board, see if you get a POST.
Then come back.
Edit: This is what one should do before fully building. Pre test the basics! There is nothing worse than fully building, then realising something is wrong and having to deconstruct everything, as you now know
If the PSU was at fault the other fans wouldn't spin up. The next step is to plug the 24pin connection into the motherboard and paperclip the connector from the other side.
This'll turn the PSU on. I've had to do this numerous times to get computers to boot up.
Thanks for the help guys! All the suggestions will come in handy for the future although it wasn't any of them! The second I unplugged the system fans out of the mobo it booted up! Turns out the fans work on their own supply and no need for a connection to the motherboard! Running as smooth and as fast as anything!
I'm confused what you did with the fans... 3 pin fan connector goes into the motherboard or is powered via a fan controller? Unless you had one with molex connector and 3 pin and plugged in both?! Anyway at least you're up and running!
