Hi all

I need your help with a survey for my MSc dissertation, and I would really appreciate it if some of you can help me by filling it out.

The survey asks about your news and newspaper reading and purchasing habits offline and online. I just had my girlfriend test it and she was done in 7 minutes so it won't take much of your time.

All data collection is done anonymously and will stay that way.

If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them. Or if you need a survey filled in for a dissertation then I'll do that too.

Thanks all!

Done.

could have done with asking about what service you use
And being able to delete stuff, rather than just rank.

Only use BBC app and only check science&enviroment and technology.
And very rarely England and world news

Thanks very much!

Do you mean which news service you use? As in which newspaper, which websites, etc?

And the ranking thing... I had to compromise as the tool doesn't seem to allow deleting with that ranking system, and the alternative systems were really clunky. Just went to have another look as it would have been good to allow it.

However, thank you again for both the feedback and taking the time to help me out.

Ultimately I'm more interested in the current behaviours, and the perceptions of news rather than which specific site people prefer to use so I hadn't really considered asking for that.

Done.

I quite often get news from links on this forum, I counted it as social networking though its not really. Most news posted on facebook doesn't interest me

Thanks again to everyone for taking the survey.

This is one of those things if I was doing a full year of research, or even longer, where I'd like to look into more closely. There is some research that looks to understand the online world in great detail, but I just don't have the time or resources to get people to fill out a massive survey.
