I read the Guardian and the Beeb

I do check the Google news section too.

Can't stand Sky news, it's just the UK edition of Fox news.

The BBC website is pretty easy to read and usually fairly clear although they've recently displayed a slightly alarming trend towards excessively dumbing down their articles. I would also point out that all news outlets have their own peculiar bias so to rely on any one risks not getting a full picture, however being aware of the political and other bias of any outlet does help you to at least mentally adjust for it to some degree.

I have bbc news, the guardian, metro and this is london subscriptions on google reader. That's only the non tech stuff though.
