Newsgroup software for the Mac?

how do you guys go about searching for what you want when using unison? Do you find the nzb file elsewhere and then open it with unison or do you download all the headers and search them?

I download the nzb file from a site that indexes them.

Not usually, a site usually indexes the most popular and the most popular sites are usually what you are subscribed too.

www.newzleech.com is a fave of mine (if this is not allowed by the mods, please remove! I understand!)

cool - i was under the impression that each provider like giganews for example had their own servers and only the stuff available on giganews in available to their customers. Is it right then that newsgroups is available to everyone but giganews and other providers just index the content and provide access to it?

Another thing that bugs me about it is that it does not give a time remaining figure for all my queue.

Anyone figured this out? I can't believe this isn't in there somewhere !

Can you download video files to a mac like you would on a pc via astraweb?

I use Grabit at the moment on my laptop, but thinking of getting a macbook. Also what about converting mkv to avi, can this still be done? May be a daft question but i'm new to mac.

sabnzbd, awesome little app, hate unison, lacks lots of functionality.

By far the best on Windows and OSX

Sabnzdb, but I run it on my QNAP NAS. can manage it from iMac, iPad, iPhone and pc.
