So it handles the VPN within the software? That's pretty nifty, the tunnelled downloads is the main reason I was attracted to all this.

In all fairness I don't use SSL but from what I've read it does. I've just had to update my key (seems like a periodical thing they do). I'm using Newsleecher 3.9 Beta 15.

Giganews do until 1st July, but they also take PayPal now which you can sue with that card.

I now use Paypal with Giganews and am very happy with the service as well.

Just tried signing up for free Newsleecher, but it won't give me a key and got this reply from Giganews "In order to qualify for the NewsLeecher key offer, you needed to initially sign up with Giganews via a referral link on NewsLeecher's web site. Also, the offer will verify whether you have not been a Giganews member for the past 12 months which may disqualify you for the key offer.

How odd. Worked for me. I learnt about it after I signed up directly through giganews.

Have you tried following this link:
