Can someone suggest an alternative to Grabit please?

Yep newsleecher, grabit is just buggy as hell. You can download 10gb of files for them all to magically disappear lol. Get newsleecher!

Xnews here. It's more a traditional newsreader than one of these automated ones but it does batch downloads etc and it is freeware.

I'm still a fan of Forte Agent - in fact just purchased the latest version not so long ago and it's excellent.
The free version isn't too shabby either.

Either Newsleecher or Newsbin Pro. Both are good but newsleecher looks sexier...

Newsleecher is excellent and is worth the buy, also i believe you get it free if you take out a giganews account.
