Next 360 dash update?

Anyone know when MS will be releasing another dash update? I remember them saying were going to do X amount a year or something. How many have me had so far?

They really need to fix the played games section in your profile, I have never bought an arcade game, yet when I play the trials it still shows up as if I have bought it. Looks untidy and annoys me.

You should also be able to remove games from your profile like with zero or very few points attatched to them. I played FM07 once and achieved 1 point, but the game is appalling and I don't want to play it again just to get more points.
 
I beleive they do two updates each year. The first around Easter which is for new features and stuff we will see and the second is in the 'Fall' which is for behind the scenes stuff that we won't see.

Certainly looking forward to reading whats going to be new in the soon to be released feature update :)
 
Nice, hopefully they sort out the played games then.

What other features are all you guys hoping for? What are the chances of them finally adding Divx/Xvid support?
 
One small thing I would like to see is for them to retain your Video folder structure when viewing movies on the pc. They can do it with Photo's (although this wasn't there at first) but they didn't do it for movies!?

Definitely. Having one huge list of video files (and a slow scrolling system) is a nightmare! I'd like to see NTFS read support, too. They own the goddamn code for NTFS so I don't see why they can't put it in.
 
i'd like to see group voice chat. maybe up to 4 people all being able to chat and hear each other at the same time in 1 chat, like the lobby of an online game just without the game lol

maybe even a 4 way video chat would be cool
 
vsync is the only thing they need to do for me but doubt very much they will give us an option to enable that.............
 
it really narks me that when you are playing your own music in game and you want to skip a track you have to bring up the system blade and go all the way down to the music bit and then right across to next track.
When i first tried it i opened the sys blade and hit the right bumper assuming that would do it, does that not make sense? it just seemed intuitive, it has no other function in the blade :S

also, 1650*1080 would be nice :D

I never use it but it thats a good idea.

Similar thing using a media centre remote; being able to go to next track using the buttons on that would be quite handy as it'd mean not having to bring up the system blade at all, but it does nothing :(
