We have had GTA V and Witcher 3 within a short space of time, with new Graphics cards around the corner, What new games are getting people excited?

Only game Ive really given much thought is the new Batman game, but to be honest I never played the last one.

Good question.

Thing is, I'm not so excited about the new graphics card releases now. My 780Ti's in SLI are still chewing through anything at 1440p.
I think everyone was certainly expecting GTA5 to be a lot more GPU heavy than it is. It runs great on my set up now. And even the Witcher 3 once a few decent driver releases come isn't/ won't be too bad either.

The 'lack of Vram' debate seems to be whimpering in a corner now to me too. The Witcher 3 uses hardly any (1.8GB most I've seen). GTA5 happily at near max settings is using 2.5GB on my setup.

So what games are there on the horizon that are actually worth upgrading GPU for?...

- Star Citizen? (I'd like to get excited about this, but just don't 'get' or agree with the way it's being developed and funded. Will it ever just be out to buy for gods sake?)
- Erm....

I'm looking forward to Batman AK, not much else for me personally.

Then there's the blockbuster games coming out in Winter to look forward to.

This is as I suspected :(

Ive been wanting to splash out on a big GFX upgrade soon but I'm not seeing any games stand out.

I own Star Citizen but Ive not even really turned it on. I was waiting until its full release state. I need to spend time on GTA and The Witcher really. I always end up just playing Dota instead: (

Pessimistically excited for Division.

Lol, yeah know the feeling ..

Now that Witcher 3 has landed there isn't really anything on the horizon that I'm strongly anticipating ( apart from the next Zelda game and Xenoblade X, both of which will be on the Wii U, rather than PC ).

And, I agree ... doesn't seem to be much need for the new breed of GPU cards unless you plan on gaming at 4K resolution. I think most of us are still happy ( or stuck .. ) on 1080 or 1440.

The next AC game, set in England, could be good - but as it's Ubisoft it's best to wait a few months after release so that most the inevitable issues can be fixed.

I can think of a few but not sure if they are penned in for release this year or 2016:

MGS Phantom Pain - looks good and probably will review well.
Mad Max - fingers crossed as the new movie was good.
The Division - potentially good but not holding my breathe with all the 'likely' bullshots and what happened to Watch Dogs.
Just Cause 3 - 2 was epic, this also looks good.

I was thinking about this earlier since I'm looking to upgrade my GPU for The Witcher 3. I can't think of anything that I will need the horsepower for going forward.
Please tell me I'm wrong and there are some super games coming out soon.

Unless they drastically change the formula, which is unlikely since they still seem to sell millions despite doing the exact same thing as the previous then I'll give that a miss.
