300cc and a whole 39bhp?

Its a wonder I ever managed to survive my teens.

17- TDR 250 50bhp
18 - CBR 1000f 100bhp
19- as above plus an RD350

I don't think I would safe on the road with only 39bhp on tap.

If you are fed up with a 125 after 2 weeks then you'll be fed up with a 300 after 4 weeks. :p

One thing I will say is make sure you take a ride out on whatever bike you decide as the way they look is a lot different to how they ride on a daily basis. :)

The Ninja 300 has a power to weight ratio of ~224bhp/tonne and it good for over 110mph. If you can't manage to stay out of trouble with that then you might need to look at your riding style.

RD350 was around 40bhp, at least stock.

As for not feeling safe with 39bhp - thats just ridiculous, sorry!

RD350YPVS was 59bhp stock, my apologies, an RD350 for me is the bike from the late 80s/early 90s.

And although it was tongue in cheek, to be honest 40bhp is nothing, even in a light weight buzzbomb.

I had an RGV250 that weighed less and was considerably more powerful than the ninja 300, and it never felt enough.

Common sense obviously isn't yours.

It's very difficult to convey things like sarcasm when dialoguing on the internet, especially when no attempt is made to highlight it such as in your circumstance.

No thats not a lack of common sense, that is simply me giving posters the respect they deserve and not treating them like brainless chimps and holding their hand through a conversation.
