Next Bond movie plot?

Anyone got any ideas of what the next bond film's plot will be?

With any luck it won't be as ridiculously farfetched as the last one, ala:
  • altering DNA
  • electric satellite-controlling suit
  • starting a helicopter mid-sky-dive
  • space-based weapon
  • ice palace
  • invisible car
  • Para-surfing down an exploding ice-berg, using the window from a previously used rocket car!

I'm guessing it'll pretty much follow the plot of the book Casino Royale. We just have to hope they haven't relocated the whole thing to a space station in the Earth's orbit or something.
 
aye, they are remaking Casino Royale afaik, and intend to follow the book much more closely (should make Bond a much darker man if they do :D)
 
I keep hearing that the new bond is going to be a lot less cheeky and far more serious...

A shame really, I really like the cheeky bonds played by Connery and Brosnan :(

Yeah, apparently he is going to be a lot more human and not so much Mr. Perfect. Making more mistakes instead of everything working, just so we're not always sure if he'll save the day. He obviously will though.
 
From what i've heard and read it will follow the plot of CR, but based in a modern day setting, even though its the first one (so to speak). Its supposed to start before he's a 00 agent, and is more serious and realistic (like the Bourne films).
 
I can't wait. Daniel Craig will make a great bond.

Brosnan's films were great but by the time of Die Another Day the act was starting to look dated. Shoot'em'up action films have gone out of fashion somewhat.

Well, my opinion on the book is that Bond is an alcoholic womaniser. Should be interesting to see how accurate they make it :D

Damn shame Oliver Reed cant play that part :cool:
