Or Your playing Forza 5 and you can take a car on the test track and in real time using the touch screen and info panel change suspension settings, tyres types, body aeordynamics etc to better inprove the car to take into races

Or you feel you need to go to the toilet and you take the game with you on the controller and transfer the game streaming from the console to the screen on the pad (rumoured)

You see it really is a great idea dn not a bad idea at all whenh you think about it like that. Its not as if Epic will make the next Gears of War game (3 wasnt the last in the series just witn Fenix) with a touch screen for reving a chainsaw etc. Its about innovation and my ideas would be fantastic

When I'm playing a game I want to look at the TV not look down at a touchscreen!

But my main concern is with how it feels. Comfort and balance in a controller is a must and the current one is as perfect as I've ever used. Start adding touchscreens and then adding a bigger battery because power usage has increased and all that comfort goes out the window. I'm all for them tweaking what we currently use but going beyond tweaking is a recipe for disaster. Oh and don't forget that touchscreen would give them an excuse push up the price of pads.

And one final thing, we're talking about Microsoft here, you've all seen the swarm of ads on the dashboard - touchscreen covered in ads, yeah no thanks :D

but really, the current 360 control is by far the best gamepad ever released with a console.

it's got perfect spacing from all the buttons, it's really ergonomic at least for my ape like hands.

It would be the best if it hadnt been for the rubbish d-pad. Even the new designed d-pad isnt as good as it could have been

For the games i have that use the D-pad, i find it works perfectly.

what kind of games/problems do you have with it (i agree it's not the best, but it still works)
 
Who cares about the name. I just bought a Vita. Rubbish name. I was always surprised when Nintendo dropped the Gameboy name when they released the DS. It didn't do them any harm but it was like Hoover releasing a new vacuum cleaner but dropping the name Hoover from the title.

Then it got boring with

Now it's just plan rubbish
Wii
Vita
and god know what else
