Ok, my spec is as follows.

Asus P5N-E-Sli
c2d e4300
2gb Crucial Ballistix P5300

Straight away i went into bios, upped the FSB to 1066, and its now running perfect at 2.4ghz, Temps are around 38 when playing Oblivion.

Now i wanna go faster, so i tried upping the fsb to 1100, and 1200. Again with stock volts on everything. When i do this, it doesnt post.

What should i do? whats a good voltage to try my ram or cpu on?, this is all pretty new to me these days, im clueless. And im lost in the huge thread on my motherboard.

Any tips?

Ok, whats the standard voltage for the ram and cpu before bumping it up?

thanks

lock the ram to 667 to start with while u'll trying to find the best FSB.

also instead of 1100, 1200 try 1104/1108/1112 as the board doesnt seem to like 00 :).

load asus probe , should be on the cd, leave cpu voltage on auto and that will give you an idea on the cpu voltage.

edit:

think processor is 1.32 and ballistix is 1.8 stock.
