Meh. Everyone said the same about the last version of the engine and i still can't name one decent game that used it.

tut tut such negativity guys we blast crysis 2 for not being dx11 and a console port , we have a genuine pc engine here that can do things that make your eye swell and all that good stuff!.
i can think of batman that game is sweet!

Bioshock, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Batman AA, Rainbow 6 : Vegas, Mirrors Edge, Borderlands... Just some of the absolutely rubbish games that this engine has disgraced us with.

Looks sweet. Why is there so much pessimism floating around here these days?

Oh, and most will agree Borderlands and Bulletstorm are two decent games built on the UT3 engine, probably more so Borderlands.

And I remember being furious that the UT3 based 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand didn't win game of the year back in 09!

The Unreal engine's come a long way really... I hadn't realised until I played Gears of War then Bulletstorm. It's still going strong IMO

All good looking games apart from Rainbow 6, that looked rubbish.

The newist UT3 engine (3.9 I think has already been rolled out to licencees) So I am expecting some improved UT3.9 titles on PC in the autumn. Batman Arkham City especially as the devs love the PC & have hinted at something special like proper DX11 which will be stunning
