Next upgrade - balancing my build

Looking for some advice on the next upgrades to balance my build as I've been lucky enough to be replacing my trusty Vega 56 with a new 6800. Current build below.

*2600x
*Team Group Vulcan Z T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual
*Vega 56 (replaced today by 6800)
*Gigabyte B450M-DS3H AMD B450
*1TB 860 Samsung ssd
*650w psu

I currently play at 1080p, but with the new 6800 I have my eyes set on a 1440p monitor.

Are there any other upgrades I should look at to get the most out of the GPU, would upgrading the CPU make a huge difference or only minimal gains?

I think you should wait till next year and get a 5600x when your board will get a bios update for it.

Should be a good bump in performance but the higher the resolution the less impact the cpu has.
