Q6600 G0 (at stock)
4gb DDR2 Ocz 8500 (was on 8gb, but besides virtual machines, I found no real performance drop going back to 4)
GTX260
1920x1080 screen
640gb WD Blue
My plan is to actually start overclocking this machine and get one of those shiney new Crucial realSSD 128gb and a sata III card (I know it's not the correct term) to compliment it.
Currently the only games I have that could benefit from better cpu/graphics are Crysis and GTA4 -neither of which are that good anyway.
In my younger days, I would have been straight onto the i7 920, but tbh I find it does everything I need well enough at the moment.
Having recently gone from dual raptors in raid 0 to this drive -mainly for the quietness, I'm looking forward to the blistering speed increase
Credit card, spread over 3 or 4 months to soften the blow
