Next upgrade?

Hi guys,

So after getting a bit of a rise at work I'm looking to treat myself. What would you recommend?

Current system is:

Benq 24" 60Hz

NZXT Phantom Enthusiast case
Intel i7 [email protected]
Gigabyte Z87 D3HP mobo
8 Gig ram
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Samsung 120GB SSD 840
HIS 7950 iceQ boost
Corsair GS600

Corsair Vengance K70 Keyboard
Logitech G500 Mouse
Roccat Kave's

I was thinking of getting either a 780ti or a 290x but I'm not sure it's worth it? My card runs everything at pretty much max as it is and I'm not sure I'd see the benefit of a £400 gfx card. I was thinking that a 120hz+ monitor would give me the best "bang per buck" upgrade?

I'm also interested in watercooling the rig but again it seems pointless as it's currently running cool and quiet. My mobo seems to be a bit weak compared to the other components but not to the point were I think it needs replacing?

290X is not worth the premium over the 290. Depending on how deep your pockets are I'd consider either a 290 / 780Ti and a monitor upgrade to 120/144hz. If you can only afford one then I'd go for the monitor upgrade - you'll notice a difference immediately and it'll stay with you through your next upgrade

120/144hz monitor would be a nice upgrade or 1440p
