Seeing that Compact Disc logo made me supremely nostalgic for the 90s. Icons were somehow far prettier then..! Lovely work, that's a really slick install.

yeah it totally transforms the machine tbh. the greyscale was kinda cool but colour makes it really shine. very pleased with the nextdimension, I'm glad to have found one as they're getting very hard to track down these days as they were only made in small numbers and most people will have bought them up years and years ago.
 
Installed sudo, SSL and SSH onto the Cube so I can access it remotely. I also set up Crypto Ancienne on an RPi to act as a proxy to deal with https/ssl/tls issues, so I can now access modern sites. Browsing is pretty quick given the pi is doing all the work.



There’s also 64MB of ram on the way so I can max out the dimension’s memory.
 
Thanks mate. I’ve never seen another one in the uk so it’s nice to have finally tracked one down, it’s been on the bucket list for a very long time.
 
A local Elonex dealer I knew had a few demo machines dunno if he ever sold any. But I had a play with one, I remember the OS looking fantastic.
