Wondering if this is worth upgrading to from a HTC one (which is my first android device). I'd like to get the software updates earlier and I guess this would be the best way.

It's the only way of getting them within at least 3-4 months of them being released.

Could be interesting to wait and see how long it takes the GPe One to get 4.4, and then root and flash the One.

That's a good point actually I think it was only a couple of weeks for the GPe handsets to go from 4.2.2 to 4.3

Is this still supposed to be priced the same as the N4 was? I'm guessing the place charging £500 for limited pre-orders is just taking the p*ss, or could that be the price point?

$349 was already leaked on Google Play - so I'm guessing ~£300 here.

No one knows, but at a guess it'll be closer to £300 than £500 from the play store at least.

Just spoken to CPW Mayfair and they just recieved it - he tried to scan it at POS and it wont sell - he said try again in a hour - I want one now :mad:

Lets hope so, I'd be tempted to upgrade at that price. Then again maybe I should hope its £500 as that would make me stick with my perfectly good Nexus 4 and save some money!
