Nothing on the Nexus 9 on here yet?

Details were announced yesterday for release soon.

Certainly looks a step up in specs compared to others and with Android Lollipop.

Probably going to finally take the plunge in to the tablet market with this when it's out. :D

Surprised more folks aren't amped up by this tbh. I was the very moment I heard HTC were doing the Nexus and that the SoC would be the K1.

I'm looking to replace my ageing but capable iPad3. I want something with drag and drop capabilities for photos (raw format if possible) and videos. Sick of having to rely on iTunes bloat for those tasks and iOS photo management is still hilariously antiquated.

I'm keeping an eye on Amazon for uk prices right now as a 64gb wifi model will suit me.

On release:

The Nexus 9 will go on sale on 3 November, and will be available to pre-order from 17 October (Friday). It will be available in 29 countries over the coming weeks

Google above only lists 16gb and 32gb, seems lacking to me.

Really needs an SD slot.

I want one, just worried it may be a bit pricey. I've never owned a tablet, I was tempted with the Nexus 7 a few times but it seemed too small, happy with the size of the 9 but sounds like it will be a big jump in price.

I would have been all over this but the lack of Wireless charging is holding me back. I've got so used to just dropping my phone, tablet & recently my watch on a wireless that going back to wires seems so old fashioned! :(

its a nice price and according to the benchmarks its a beast. (benches the same as a 2012 mac pro)

i currently have an ipad mini, i only use it for 2 things though and 1 is hearthstone (there is no android app for that yet)

I dismissed this in another thread but I am semi tempted by this. I recently sold on my Nexus 10 as I felt it was the right time to do so. The Nexus 10 always felt too heavy in the hands and the hardware is showing its age.

This certainly has the looks and I really like the fact that the display has a ratio of 4:3.

Shall await some reviews, the topic of battery life will be interesting, I see the figure of 9 hours with video playback being branded around. With that, I'm guessing around 6 hours of typical browsing use perhaps?

i want a 4:3 screen but 16 and 32gb storage only, no sdcard and whats more US pricing has a the 32 at US$80 more for and extra 16gb!!!!

its one thing to offor not a lot of storage, then to not have an sd card slot but to then price gouge for the little bit extra???? i want one but not so much im going to bend over and drop my trousers.
