Samsung have quite happily done different versions of the SGS2 with different innards. It wouldn't be a surprise if they did an OMAP LTE one and an Exynos GSM device.

If it's a Nexus (GED), and we know it is, then it will have to have the same hardware worldwide.

I heard a rumour that the omap might be delayed, so it could be the exynos this time, hope so anyway though omap isn't shabby.

If you can find even a HTC Desire or Nexus One under £100 (and not from some dodgy geeza) then you're doing well. The Nexus S wont be £100 or less for at least another year.

Fair enough, I dont mind paying more if I can get a rolling contract for a tenner, playing SD content and a nice camera is all I care about, that and playing movies on the device will be great on AMOLED, my mp3 player is great for movies as it's amoled.

Had a play with one of these the other day and I was extremely impressed. Without doubt, I will be picking up one when it is released. I am told that it will be released within a "few weeks".

I know that half of ye are going to jump up and down and ask for proof but please, don't bother.

The boot up animation, on that screen, had me going "wow wow wow' the minute I powered it on.

I tried doing some digging on the device, particularly for the resolution, but I couldn't find the actual info anywhere in the OS.

I tried the camera but they seem to have implemented some sort of distortion on the viewfinder (sort of night vision effect flashing on and off) to stop you taking phots and uploading it.

The curve is nowhere near pronounced as the teaser image suggests. It took about a minute to boot up but the boot up animation looks stunning on the screen. The screen was massive, looked like it could be AMOLED, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was LCD given the size of it.

ICS seems to be a decent improvement over Gingerbreak and is extremely snappy on the device.

The device seems to feel less cheap than the Galaxy 1 in particular and seemed to have similar texture to that of the rear of the Galaxy 2. I have a Sensation myself and it felt lighter than that.

That is about all I can tell you though as I literally had it in my hand for 5 mins.

LCD?

It has been confirmed that the nexus prime is going to be SAMOLED.

Unless they do what they did with the nexus s where Russia and a few other places got SLCD models as opposed to nearly every where else getting SAMOLED.

UK will diff get SAMOLED.
