Nexus Prime

Bit Late to the thread. Can anyone put a very quick update for the following:

Any hints if the UK will get the same rumoured release day of the 3rd November?

Any heads up as to what UK carriers will be supporting this?

And is it a Carfail warehouse exclusive?

Cheers!:)

none of you 3 questions have been answered as far as i'm aware buddy, all released/leaked info has been about the device, nothing UK related

I cant decide which one to get, the nexus prime or the galaxy note.

Im just thinking the note is slightly tooo big for a phone and doesnt ship with ICS.

So im leaning towards the Nexus.

Where can I buy it from sim free on launch day?

If the prime has 720p screen then it should be sharper, hope should have matching or better hardware and ICS so that alone should sway u :D, unless u need to make notes on a phone haha.

Yeah I know, I posted more as a rough indicator of price.

What do you reckon, £520 seem reasonable enough?

I hope its under £600, will jump on it straight away soon as I can pre-order from a reputable place like amazon

I'm hoping for a £30 per month contract for maybe 24 months with the phone free. I got my HTC desire 18 months ago free with 25£ month contract pre release.

Only willing to sign for 24 this time as i dont see me needing any more power than this in that time

Must contain significant data!

Don't forget, the last two Nexus (first two...) I have bought, on release day, for just £430... maybe they'll be aiming under the £500 mark again?

Is it really worth upgrading from an sgs2? :p

in many ways no, but i have been waiting for a pure android phone for a while, Nexus S failed on spec when i had the HTC Desire. but if i can sell the SG2 for a good price its worth it for me. very much looking fwd to it

Won't this be similar? Slower SoC but bigger screen?(At least the GPU part)

^^

i have had the S2 since launch day and its great, but it has loads of crappy apps and bloat features i don't use, TouchWizz is not that bad and very nippy, but at the end of the day i end up butchering the rom, rooting and downloading. currently running CM7 but its still in beta/nightly and has issues.

I think the difference i will pay after off setting my SG2 will be worth it, as a android fan :)
