NFL 2012 Season

Never really liked Ray Lewis, he just doesnt come across as a very nice guy. Again all to do with that murder trial back in 2000. He wasnt very forthcoming with his testimony and that will always taint him in my eyes.

Anyhow im hoping the 49er's win the SB in a couple of weeks....tbh i dont really care who wins ultimately as i dont like any of the teams that are in the SB personally. But if i had to choose then im going with the 49er's.

Ray Lewis used to be an amazing inside linebacker, one of the best ever.some of his speeches can give me goosebumps.

But the payouts/suing he faced for the murder
His suit never being found
His all of a sudden turn to god
Are why ill never like him and why he should never get HOF, the incessant biblebashing he does is horrendous and extrememly cringeworthy, massive fake.

Real shame ss the first two points woukd make him one of my favourite players
 
Manti Te'o and Ray Lewis are like polar opposites; one faked someones existence whilst the other ended someones existence.

I fancy Ravens as I prefer their D and I think Flacco is very solid compared to Kap. But I still think it will be extremely close as Niners really know how to grind it recently.

Ravens D is much more solid imo and I prefer Flacco to Kaep. Also think the Ravens will be a bit more fired up coming into the game but don't have evidence/source, just a gut feeling.


Anyone watching the pro bowl?
 
Its another head vs gut situation.

My head says the 49ers will take it, and I'm supporting and putting money on them. But the way the Ravens have battled through to the superbowl overcoming the two best teams in the AFC against the odds makes my gut instinct go with the Ravens.
 
Funny game, feels more like I'm watching college football than the cream of the NFL although there are moment of brilliance to go along with the fumbles.
