NFL 2021 Season

And prior to last year there was that whole debate around Tua and of course those trade rumours for Deshawn Watson. Add to that last year and the concussions and they have certainly been through a journey. Seems to be coming together now. Miami an example of stock pilling picks and using them well.

I do think their stadium is a nasty place to go, teams melt on that side-line. Bears always do badly there.

Bears do badly everywhere.

Dolphins looking like a SB team, injuries will play a part and they started strong last year before injuries took there toll

49ers v Dolphins, early SB pick.

Left my self open to that one. But we have a history of losing at their stadiums given how rarely we play them. 10-4 all time record against us including a famous game in '85.

Still a tough place to go at times.
I like the Bears, thought they would do OK this season but they just look even worse.

I know, shocking. A car crash on all fronts.

Denver next week. What a painful game that is going to be to watch. Early battle for the No.1 pick.
If they stick with Fields the No.1 pick will be very valuable. Could get a pick windfall for someone wanting Caleb Williams

I don't think they can stick with Fields. Tbh the ways things are going it will be a full clear again; GM, HC the lot.

Whoever gets the No.1 pick isn't trading out of it this year. QB class is too strong.

Well, it was nice while it lasted... (Commanders beating the Eagles) Maybe we've gotten a little respect back after last weeks drubbing by the Bills. Let's see how we finish up.

Whilst I've probably not changed my overall opinion of Fields, wow, is he having a great game!

Bears as a whole were so much better today, albeit the Bronco's aren't good. But they do have a much more functional offence than us.

I did think the Commanders should have gone for the extra 2pt conversion at the end but I get it's very risky.

Yeah, I was praying we would go for 2 pts. There's no doubt the Eagles are a better team, so you need to try and steal a win when the opportunity arises.

Zac Wilson also had a great game, until he muffed the snap.

Yeah, despite the final result, the Eagles Commanders game was amazing. It's very sad that I was just happy not to be embarrassed by the Eagles. That's the state I'm in these days... happy with not being terrible...

Super tough division: 2 NFC titans 4 times a season. At least Howell is playing well and you have some positives. I did think that Terry McLaurin catch was in bounds.

I know that feeling though!

Unfortunately we are the worst atm so even despite the latest loss my expectations were so low I was happy a) the Bears scored more that 20pts in non-garbage time and b) we played so much better with actual fight compared to the first 3 weeks. Keep that up and we might actual win a game somewhere.

One positive from was Tyson Bagent made backup QB yesterday. This UFA wasn't even meant to make our roster but somehow won out over journeyman PJ Walker and has now displaced Peterman in the backup role. He was a star in pre-season and definitely has something about him. Whether and how that translates to the NFL we shall see, but maybe he can make a backup somewhere. But I hope we get to see him play at some point. Will be something interesting to look forward too.

It's almost as tough as the AFC South!

My fantasy week is over before it started after my opposition selected DJ Moore for 49 points. Will be interesting to see if Jonathan Taylor returns on form. I had his as an undroppable but also on the PUP list in my auto draft.

Yeah, once again Fields didn't look too bad, but to be honest, we gifted him/them 14 to 17 points. I honestly don't understand how a pro defence can leave someone so open on a fairly simple flag route... twice! It's a little embarrassing.

Our O line was soooo much better and the stars of the show. Actually stayed up and watched the first half on Thursday. One thing Fields did which he hasn't done before is close out the game with that 50yd TD pass to Moore (which is the closest he's managed to a winning drive inho). Was always going to be a tough game given a short week, on the road against a team that has shown much more than the Bears have. But overall the past two weeks has been better and as I mentioned play like that and the Bears will win games. Still a long way to go as to what it means in the overall context of this season.

Nice London game today. Trev and Etienne kicked off.

Watched this too and really enjoyed it. Fair play to the Jags.
