I have to say, I didn't realise the success rate was as high as pretty much 50%. I think the Ravens were below 40% when they tried theirs...
i think the thing to keep in mind is their head coach is currently only an interim, with all the 4th down attempts coaches are being more attacking, my thought is he wanted to play to win rather than tie, not saying it was right but i can understand why he did it.
as for the timeout, i've seen that it was due to them wanting the right players on the field as they felt the raiders were going to run the ball, problem is they did and got into field goal range, so perhaps they didn't get the right people on
with 2 point conversions, i've no issue with them at the end of the game to win it instead of going into OT, or to make it a one score game in the 4th quarter, but early on it makes as much sense as trying 4th down and 6 on your own 15.
I thought it quite odd. There's a risk in kicking that FG, taking a knee was less risk... I think if I was a Chargers fan I'd be annoyed. Mind you, I think when they had the ball on the Raiders 20 with 5 mins left, they threw two incompletions. I would have already been playing for the draw at that point, run the ball twice, kick the FG and give the ball back with 2:30 left. If you're the Raiders, surely you then just run the clock out? Also, why did the Chargers take that timeout? Just seems some bad leadership decisions cost them...
A bit like those two Ravens games they lost because they failed two point conversions earlier in the year.
also what tiebreaker makes the packers higher seeded than the bucs
I wanted the game to end in a tie so the steelers get eliminated it would have been funny

Just seen the weather forecast for the Bills wildcard game on Saturday.. I thought 4 wasn't too cold until I realised it was Fahrenheit which is about -15C!! The forecast even says limited outdoor activity recommended. At least the wind is a lot less than the last time we faced the Pats so hopefully Josh can cope with it better than Jones.
I realise it's not actually football, but have US adverts got worse? I remember thinking about 10 years ago that US ads were less annoying than UK ads and generally a bit more clever and often quite funny. Jeez they're annoying at the moment.
Squeegy? Mate, why are you in a gas station if you're not getting gas?!
That Gieco one with the bikers? What?
The people dancing around the Toyota(?) Cross? Why would that make people buy your car?
All the turbotax ads (although I quite like the 'I'm a millionaire' crypto one)
