I am trying to run windows from Raid0 on a DFI Ultra-D. Cant do it during the setup/install of WinXP (can on vista) because it bluescreens and crashes on first reboot (this is using a driver disk, F6 malarky).
Anyway one solution is to install on a striped array only containing a single disk then use the Raidtool to span it onto two disks.
However installing the latest nforce pack v6.86 doesnt seem to install the Raidtool anywhere, I installed all the drivers and it recognises the raid device and controller in device manager but I have no way of controlling the array from within windows?
The raidtool.cab file is there after the drivers have been extracted but doesnt seem to work when I manually start poking with it.
