What do people think of this!!

I have to admit this is the most annoying game i have

Graphics are good but takes ages for the actual races to start..even when you skip the video..it takes a while...

When you get a new car..it takes ages to show you the new car before u can actually get back to the game!!

Most wanted is way better then this..flows better...you seem to spend more time playing then actually watching video's

(I have not looked for a way to turn these off..so this maybe being lazy..)

I am using Sweex wheel and control can be a little iffy but overall not bad...and used the sweex for about a year now on other games without issue

In race GOOD...out of race (i.e u have new car/ promo etc etc)...takes tooooo long

Crap. Most Wanted was miles better even with it's insta-pop polices SUV's and rubber band AI.

yet another new thread? theres been at least 4 HP threads to my knowledge, all pretty much trashing the game and rightfully so.

It's alright, although it's basically a one trick pony and that one trick you will experience within the first few minutes of the game. The extreme lack of variety also surprised me a little. Haven't experienced the long load times, seems like no more than a couple of seconds before the race starts if I press skip. The unskippable unlocks on the other hand need to go away forever.

Overall I was happy enough with it, though for anyone sitting on the fence I'd probably recommend waiting for a substancial price drop before giving it a try.

I looked at those threads and thought I would be hijacking...(and I hate it when people do that :)) as my issue is mainly about speed of loading (which when you crash as often as I do..you want to get back into it as quick as possible)

The only thing which can keep you playing is just the challenge of beating your friends in autolog events. Not much else to do?

My thoughts - good for a laugh. As critical to play with friends as left4dead.

As in, without mates who you can chat to whilst playing, don't even bother booting.

Skin deep, arcade entertainment. Good for a few hours, after that, move on ..

Do the cars handle like tanks like in burnout?

the handling is worth than burnout because in burnout some corners require you to slow down.

in hot pursuit all known physics go out the window and your car slides around hairpins art 150+ mph

WOW....Just game is great,I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere as good as this after reading some the comments from people on here....:) :) :)

I haven't played it yet, only been looking at the pictures and videos of it :p

This game is awesome if: You have a lot of friends playing it.

If not, all the cars handle exactly the same (even less so than Burnout Paradise) only difference is speed & it's noticeably repeatative after a while.

If there's a load of you playing the social features are awesome, seeing each others times & scores to beat!

What do people think of this!!

Put some effort in OP, your post is a disgrace. '!!' is not a question mark!

As for the game, I'm puzzled to see how generally unpopular it seems to be round here. I've found the multiplayer especially to be a hell of a lot of fun regardless of who I might be playing against.
Clearly the game doesn't have much by the way of long term appeal but I'm certainly enjoying it whilst it lasts.

In all fairness, the game is an arcade racer. It doesn't state it's a simulator like GT or Forza. :p

I wish people would stop calling GT and forza sims - because they aren't....at all. Anyone who calls them a sim hasn't played an actual sim. They are arcade.
