Is anyone else massively excited about NHL 15 on PS4/Xbox One?

I played NHL 14 to death last year, I was living in Vancouver at the time so was obviously hooked on hockey, and now I'm back NHL 15 is the closest I'll get to the real thing for some time.

I can't wait!

I haven't bothered with sports games since I was mid teens but I'm planning on getting NHL 15 and Fifa 15.

It's a shame none of my mates like Ice Hockey, it being my favorite sport by some margin - in fact it's actually my favorite hobby overall that I don't actively participate in.

I'm looking forward to getting back into things - although given how complex sports games are now I'll suck for a while.

I remember winning the Olympics with the Soviet Union back in the mid 90s only using my right hand as my left wrist was shattered. I played it to death in hospital - something tells me even with 2 hands I won't get anywhere near to winning anything. lol
 
14 was brilliant, it's a shame not many people from here play, the games are always really polished and while I'm not into HUT there is still GM Connected and EASHL we could all play.
 
I'll be picking this up if Madden 15 is the same old. Not had an NHL game since 13.
 
I get NHL every year, 14 was great so yeah I will prob get 15 on release.

I went to Canada for 16 days in June (Calgary > Rockies > Vancouver) , I would move there in an instant!
 
I'm deff interested in the more social aspect of gaming these days so good to know others from here are getting the game.

My wife really wants to go to that harry potter park but I have no interest in florida - but I just found out my team, St Louis Blues are playing in Tampa Bay in February!! Think that's a good reason to head over to the states for a cheap week in the winter!! lol

Tampa are a good attacking team so should make for a fun game with any luck.
 
One of two games ill end up getting a ps4 for.

Not this year though, ill wait on 16, they allways hit bigger with the 2nd game on the newer console... 98/2002/2009.... all prime examples.

Massive fan of the series, but ill wait, cheaper ps4, better game:)
 
I'll be getting it that's for sure. Always enjoyed the old hocky games... Loved EA's first one that come out around the time of FIFA International Soccer, that was cool.

Yeah I went to around 7 or 8 in the year I was there, it was so damn expensive though! I lived in an apartment that overlooked Rogers Arena so I could always hear the goal horn go off before I saw the goal on TV, as there must have been a slight delay in the TV feed.

Seeing the games live is awesome though.
 
I dont see much "gameplay" in those vids, show me some players with icons around them to show its in game and not replay footage and ill be more impressed

Havent played an NHL game since back in my megadrive days, PS4 will be in need of games so this is a possibility for sure
 
I love ice hockey and I love the NHL games. My fave was NHL 99. And I haven;t played since NHL 2003 so I am looking for ward to it. I am not a football fan so the likes of FIFA 15 doesn't interest me even though I got Fifa 14 free with my Xbox one.

I can't stand football as a sport - but funnily enough a football game appeals to me. Strange that.

Haven't bought one since early 2000s but I'm going to give fifa 15 a try.
More interested in NHL 15 of course but none of my mates play that - which is part of the appeal of fifa I guess
 
Blitzwing>Even though I don't know anyone in real life who would play this and all they play is fifa.

I would be more than happy if a group of us from here could play on either the same team against other peeps or one another.
 
Yeah It'll be good if there is a small community of players on here to make it more interesting and/or social.
I'm still getting Fifa to faff about with my mates but I will be putting more emphasis on NHL as my main sports game.

With all the great looking games coming out, it'll be good to have a different genre to my usual that I can jump onto.

Count me in, do we know if EA are including some Euro teams in 15 ? Think they had them in 13 but never had 14. Wish they would include EIHL teams, would love to play as the Sheffield Steelers :D
