NHS-NoReply - How To Block??

Strangely enough I NEVER get any of these SMS messages; the only "Health" related ones I get are from my GP Surgery - have you tried contacting them?

It may be that as a result of having been "near" someone who subsequently tested positive you have been advised to "self-isolate" at some time and as a result you are now on some centralised database?

ps - there is a "double negative" in your opening post -unintentional I'm sure ;)

What phone are you using? A lot of phones have a spam/blocked number bit built into the SMS app.

the only NHS texts i've had other than one or two general coronavirus ones have all come from the local surgery i'm registered to, you're probably on their 'ok to SMS' list, talk to them about your contact preferences

Today's latest:

The Germ Defence website gives scientifically proven, practical advice on how you can reduce the spread of coronavirus in your home. www.germdefence.org/index.html?src=L85611. Help protect yourself and others.

https://www.germdefence.org/homePage.html

Wow the advice on that site is a bit much isn't it, saying to wear a face mask when sat in the same room as people you live with?

Also the advice for those that have coronavirus and those that don't seems to be pretty much the same, looks like its just been copied and pasted from one section to the other.

Is it a real NHS message? I'd have thought they'd have pointed you to the .gov website for anything like that.

I have tried that but was told be the receptionist that "they're from the powers that be and there's nothing we can do about it here"

You got fobbed off, they're from your GP surgery and it's entirely within their power to add or remove you from their 'mailing list'
