Ni No Kuni 2 coming to PC as well as PS4

AWESOME! I can finally sell my PS4 :D not been used since about 2 months after launch, only kept hold of it as I thought this would be a PS4 exclusive, now its not I can get rid of the console :)
 
This is good news - I have struggled with the first game admittedly - I could not get used to the pets and combat. Yet I could see a good game is there and it is nice that expanded audience get to play
 
I was thinking the same about my PS4 but Nioh demo was pretty interesting!

I enjoyed the first one though it did have flaws, still one of the better jrpgs in the last decade! I was disappointed that there wasn't more of the proper anime drawn curly scenes as they were stunning! Hopefully this one runs with it!

Would be weird to bring the 2nd game and not rerelease the 1st but then again from what I understand this is all new characters etc
 
hmmm Ni No Kuni....

I loved some parts of that game (the fairy mostly!) and I enjoyed the "fun" atmosphere, however the kid really ****ed me off to the point I actually couldn't finish it because I was so sick of his voice :(

I think I would like to have a bash at the squeal though, as I DID enjoy many aspects of it.
 
I haven't finished the game but I still plan to do so. The characters was fine for me but the combat system could do with some work.
 
So not long until release. Has anyone actually pre-ordered this?

I haven't pre-ordered yet but if funds allow closer to the time I'll do so. I won a 25% off voucher at 2Game, so I can get the Prince's Edition for £47.47, providing the current 6% sticks around.
 
I REALLY want to get this on launch for the PC - but im not sure if the RTS stuff is going to kill it for me.

Im also playing the original at the moment on my PS3 as i got it on launch and never finished it.
 
If it supports 21:9 I'll have a look but pretty sure it will require a hex edit and then your left with stretched UI... can't play games like that.
 
I think I'm happy to await reviews personally. I enjoyed the first one back then and haven't followed this one too closely so if it's good I'll have a nice surprise and pick it up when I can.

Love the visual style of this and the original
 
I never pre-order games...

I just pre-ordered .... Hope its good. I've really enjoyed finishing off the first one on my ageing ps3 over the last few weeks.

Pre-ordering is fine nowadays as there is no risk.

If you buy on Steam you can get a refund before 2 hours have been played.

Origin offer a 24 hour refund policy or if you have a subscription you get 10 hour free trials for new releases.
