52k miles, FPSH, £25,000.....

Yes! These 996s are also dirt cheap to run! All the prices of parts have been on par with the E39 530i I used to own.

Fronts Discs are £99! Suspension arm £30, control arm £55, TRW, Brembo etc!

Some engine bits from the dealer were very reasonable. Alternators are on par aswell etc.

Headlight was £400 though :(

haha! i don't think any.... this is a massive step up for me, really want it standard!

I wasn't entirely serious :p

Looks good though - more pics needed though!

I do have a thing for the 966 turbo!

Seems a good price too for the mileage - but still not a cheap toy!

yeah will sort -

they have a different engine to the other 996s so they make a better buy than the non turbos, as it's more race bred and his links to the air cooled ones which are more reliable

Yes and no.

Turbo, actuator, cluctch failure, about 4k at specialist.
If engine goes and they do that's 15-30k bill, they can throw huge bills, guy I know 996 turbo engine let go couple of weeks ago, costing him near 20k at a specialist. :(
