So. I've got a loverly lady coming down from Brighton on the 14th for a couple of days.. she's Taiwanese , lived in the country for like 2 years, met her when i was visiting some friends up there - thing is she's very different to most girls I've been with, quiet, studious, sweet.
I'm used to just taking girls for drinks and getting smashed with them :/ - this one isn't like that though she doesn't really drink.

I live in Birmingham. apart from museums and art gallerys, what are some 'interesting' fun things we could do that don't involve alcohol? (hard i know)

Well as it's going to be awful weather on the 14th. i'd scrap hiking and cycling, and as i've only really spent 1hour with her in person (about 2 months ago) would want to do things where we could talk aswell. scrapping the theater and the cinema

Thai Lady Boy? You never can be sure!

LOL i'm pretty sure she isn't!

If its just one evening, cook her something?

It's 2.

P.S i can't cook

Doesn't Brum have an ice rink outside in December? Could be a giggle.

Just saw your expecting bad weather on the 14th.

pasty.......

the rest you know

hahah, thing is she's really nothing like that. which is actually a breath of fresh air.

I'm also kinda nervous about it all because it's such a massive culture difference really. she's only lived here for a 1 and a 1/2 years. she's completely fluent with her English and all that. just i dunno.

I'm used to saying 'going down to London' so said that.. great observation though. 10 claps, 20 internet points etc. you should feel very proud

Well if you can't cook, why not get a load of ingredient in and ask her to teach you how to cook a taiwanese dish, you learn something, you make something together that can be fun and will be a good memory, and she will always be the girl that tought you to cook this dish and vice versa.
