Hey guys I own a Logitech DiNovo edge, and i love the keys and how slim it is, its almost perfect although it has no backlighting :(

does anyone know of a simalir keyboard with backlighting?

ta :)

i have a lycosta, and while its relatively thin, its nowhere near as thin as that logitech de novo. judging from pictures its about 2/3 times as thick. they back lighting is very nice however, though i never actually use it.

I love my Lycosa too. One thing you need to be careful of is that some had a manufacturing fault in them, so the media keys/light changing buttons didn't work.

Backlight worked fine, just you couldn't use the media controls. It was about a screw holding a connector too far from its plug. Good thing about the lycosa is that there are no "warranty void if removed" stickers, so you can open it up without voiding anything.

Mirror Edition =P

it does look very nice, but its extremely prone of specs of dust and finger prints - everything shows up on it. but if you don't mind a dirty looking keyboard or wiping it every day then its a great piece of kit. i would recommend the rubber coated lycosta, doesn't show dirt so much and has slightly more grip on the keys..

sorry if i sound a bit ocd about dirt by the way..

no worries mushroomsoup, I cant stand dust and dirt, I got rid of my black desk because it showed everything!

the Logitech keyboard looks nice too, does anyone have an opinion as to which is better?

I recently got the Lycosa Mirror Edition, and while it does have issues with finger prints, dust has not been a major issue. The keyboard comes with a micro fibre cloth which works very well, only takes a quick wipe and it removes prints.
The problem with the usual Lycosa (so I hear) is that the keys have a tendency to wear off the symbols.
Besides it's quite spectacular to behold.

I have the mirror edition and it really doesn't get that much dust on it... fingerprints are present however on the space available not on the keys...

I read an article about the rubber of the rubber edition lycosa to wear off and this was my main reason to go with the mirror edition.

Really like this keyboard as I am used to laptop keyboards and this is not too different
