Night Owl - Thread

This week has been utterly exhausting. Too hot to sleep, at work all day getting cranky because of the lack of sleep and still cant sleep because of the weather.

Currently sat in my my driveway surfing the net on my tab.

since my headphones are broken i thought i'd start making my list of minecraft mods that i'll get round to installing eventually. somehow its gone from being nearly midnight to half one in the morning and i now have a list of 52 mods that all look amazing

What puts me off is managing them. I use YAMS on my WHS2011 server at home which does a great job of keeping itself updated but I have to try any mods on it.

erm.... i assume by YAMS you dont mean the vegetable and by WHS2011 you dont mean WHSmith.

i'm an utter noob when it comes to minecraft mods so i was hoping that MultiMC could cope with everything single player and that i'd stick with tekkit for multiplayer. i still need to look into known conflicts and assigning block IDs (with the help of the 4096 block ID fix)

At the moment I am doing 3 nights a week because I study at uni 2 days a week. So the day before uni is my "get my body clock in order" day. The 2 study days were back to back however when I go back later this year there is a big chance they won't be. So it's going to be a new experience. I also have to commute a hour and a half to the uni so doesn't make it any easier getting up early.

At the moment I go home, eat and then sleep and I wake up at about 4pm. After my last day I try and only sleep till about 1pm so that I can go to bed at a reasonable time that night. It's no fun being awake all night when you want to use your day ahead.

That does sound pretty hardcore, rather you than me! The 90min commute certainly doesn't help things either. Still, at least you get a day or two to readjust.

I know of some poor sods who mix day and night shifts, talk about glutton of r punishment!

Yet Another Minecraft Server and Windows Home Server 2011. I wanted to run a mutliplayer server but without the effort of running it lol.

I only started the job about 2 weeks ago but because I'm in education no one would hire me as I wouldn't be flexible with shifts. I have sat here for the past 4 hours watching Conan and now Superbad. So the work is easy. Just eating and drinking (squash lol) to keep me awake.

aww come on, its not even 2am yet. this instant and moment is thataway :p

seriously though, really wish i could get back into a sensible sleeping pattern. i thought i had it all sorted when i was feeling ill on the weekend and went to bed at eleven. my plan failed when i woke up and saw that it was gone midday :(
