Night Owl - Thread

Just bought The Stranger/Outside by Albert Camus. Looks like a good read! This whisky is rapidly running out, just the way whisky should go!

Fine, call me Seek.

But at least I'm not knobbing shazza who I trust so much I have to create a fake FB account as a decoy.

He hasn't actually explained why he had a 'decoy' FB account, so it's a bit unfair to damn his relationships before they even begin.

Anyway, what's wrong with meeting girls in pubs? :o

arma 2 :/

That game looks fantastic, but never got round to actually buying it. Is it good?

True. Still doesn't feel good to have all that work and effort amount to nothing.

Although on the plus side, i do now have an extra blank roll of film to get through ;)

I guess this has been discussed some where else, but, are these pictures personal pictures or photography as a hobby/job. If the latter you got links to any as I can't sleep and need some thing to do.

My dad was very much into photography when I was a kid and I play now and then very badly - interested but never put the time into really learning it.

I totally see the value of photographs, but for me they just don't resonate with me in the way memories do. I don't have many photographs of people (and there are are some I can't bring myself to look at) close to me. However, I have the memories and I love remembering this and that. I suppose, for me, photographs are rarely 'real' nor do they offer a true reflection of a person as they tend to be posed - or at the very least a simple snapshot of a time.

Memories however, offer so much more.

I suppose that's the reason, much to the annoyance of those in the 'Items bought this month' thread, that I don't own a camera.

Jack, I assume that you know but we have a photography subforum on here with a 'post your pictures' thread. There are some fantastic photographers on here, who take stunning shots. Well worth a browse!

It's a hobby, but i don't have much of a portfolio at the minute. Shot four rolls that i have access to, two pretty much ruined and not that many decent shots on the other two. Need more practice :p

You could always check out the Photography subforum, or TP, or Reddit (/r/photography, links to others in the sidebar) :)

Another all-nighter, may just stay awake for a few days...

Actually I tried staying up for days once, took about 3 packets of pro plus - You're awake, but there's nothing there, just an empty minded zombie.

Getting on with my C# programming because Java is useless for GUI's...
Anybody else prefer to do creative and thought provoking tasks after midnight? - I spend most of the daytime doing nothing.
