Night Owl - Thread

oh well, i have 2 weeks of nights where i'll probably find myself on here in the small hours... such a life i lead, well i am glad to have escaped londons clutches.
 
I dont usually post here but only an hour ago I was sound asleep until I got a phonecall from my companies burglar alarm monitoring company asking me to check why the alarm was going off. I got there and found out it was just a spurious alarm....great.....
 
Yup, I'm awake. After having a social life at the weekend, I am now awake due to sorting my bodyclock out for work tomorrow night 11-7.

Knackered but refuse to go to bed. Cba to play Black Mesa/BF3/BatmanAA/Portal 2/Sleeping dogs or do anything...

Am I turning into an emo?
Will I have to get a new haircut?
 
heh, I'm waiting for mists of pandaria atm, leveling up my character atm which will take another like 10 hours or something, then going to sleep at 3pm and wake up at 10 to play wow when it releases at 12:00, I'm sad -.- so excited though.
 
been meaning to watch QIXL, and where you watching USNetflix? it's on my xbox and ps3 but not too sure what'll happen if i fiddle with it on my pc though, watching through covert affairs atm on uk netflix, CIA tv show, really good.
 
After having spent the best part of a grand on a gaming rig, is now a bad time to realise that I don't really give a crap about gaming?

On another note, has anyone ever watched the brilliant Romanzo Criminale series?
 
heh, I love gaming, not sure what I'd do without it :P, should try some new games, main ones i play are dota2, sc2 and wow.

and nope, never heard of it, whats it about?

I always upgrade my rig but hardly ever play games on it, I honestly think I just do it out of habit now tbh.

Saying that though Steams Big Picture Mode has got me to run a HDMI cable to my TV so hopefully that well spur me on to play a few pc games on the couch.
 
Yeah, I've got unblock, but I'm not too familiar with all this DNS thing, does it change anything to your internet? I've done it to my xbox + ps3 just not my pc incase it gives me lag or something like that, not really sure about it all.
 
I dunno, I've never found more than a handful of games I really want to take time out to play regularly on PC/X360/PS3. I don't like rpg's or strategy which leaves fps/platform and stuff.
The furthest towards rpg I'll go is the Mass effect series. Any ideas?

Romanzo Criminale is an Italian crime drama loosely based on real events set from the late 70's to the early 90's and takes place mostly in the 80's.
It's basically about a gang that take control of the drug trade in Rome. I think it's brilliant.
I think they made it around 2006. There's a 14gb torrent with english subs if it sounds like your cuppa. Sky are also showing the 2nd series on Sky arts at the moment.
