Nightfall or Factions

Which Guild Wars installment is better? I have enough money for both, so does anyone recomend I get both? I already have factions.

Im looking for a good online game that will keeep me playing, I have chose BF2 because of the very cheap price, I already play Counterstrike and World Of Warcraft, what is another good online game, preferably a shooter.
 
CS, or DoD (either original or source) are extremely good shooters and can be had very cheaply now.
 
Nightfall tbh, Factions is the most annoying of the 3, damn exploding mobs make being an assassin not so fun. :mad:
 
Nightfall. As its basiclly the second chaper of the gw story. Factions was just a filler, "level to lvl 20 fast as you can then do..nothing" game.

Nightfall has a story, :) Do you have the original gw?

Yeah I do. Havent got to 20 yet though :)
 
Exactly my point ;)

in prohp (original) and nightfall it takes time and learning to get to level 20. I didnt hit 20 inoriginal game till near the end. how it should be. In factions I was level 20 within 25% of the total game and about a week.

You'll much preffer NF. Just have to get in a guild and play with people, else its kindaa boring :)
 
I hit 20 with my Derv in 2 days, it took me 2 weeks for my Proph character.

I had my Derv kitted out with 15K armor within a week, I had the left over money to get the rest of the 15K druids for my ranger.

Prophecies = :cool: .
Factions = :mad: . (Wahey, check ma wallet out anyway..)
Nightfall = :p . (Wahey, check ma wallet out, oh, hi there keyless chests)

So, yea. :P

Ad time... Join tha Spamadan Police Department and come party on our beach. :D

Come see me, the emo Derv, in the Bone Palace (More than likely Int district) to have a chat.

Thanks guys then, I do like the sound of lvl20 with minimal effort :) but I trust you, so I have gone with Nightfall instead. :) I also bought BF2 since it was 15pounds. Hope all that stuff about the game being crap was just forum whining.
 
youll like bf2, my mate still plays it everyday! I much preffer 2142 though ;)


lvl20 with minimal effort and minimal rewards. Once your lvl20 on faction you can..err..do nothing really :P I only got it for the CE (have all three, will have them all!)

Not to spoil the party or anything.. But, won't it be the the guys that did factions working on chapter 4, meaning one to miss?

Was reading a few posts on GWG the other day, and they suggested that proph was done by the whole team, then they split into 2 making factions and NF.

I have guildwars, i used to be in the guild ocuk have (well, i actually started it up with some people YEARS AGO hardly anyone will remember)

Anyway i just logged onto it now (only have the original) and don't know what to do, im level 20 etc and with these two new add-ons i feel like im just missing out on everything :\

You can also bring the henchies from Tyria to Elona via the teleporter there too.

As for the OP's question, Nightfall is way better than Factions. I have all three campaigns linked but only use Factions to level up quickly these days. If you need any help in-game, then by all means click my signature and visit the OcUK guild, The Godless. We'll be glad to help.
 
That's in Nightfall, a place called Crystal Overlook which ajoins the Crystal Desert which as you know is the Southern part of the 1st chapter, Prophecies.

There's no info at all about the 4th chapter bar *** interweb rumours that it's going to be set above the North of Prophecies and possibly involve the Mursaat and/or the Char. However, the website Guild Wars: Utopia has been registered by ANet/NCSoft so that may be the name, but who knows.
