Nikkon P520 or Samsung NX1000

Been playing around with the camera and struggling to get a slow shutter speed shot. I basically want to take a slow shutter speed shot of a busy road at night so all the lights look blurry. I set the shutter speed to really slow but all I get is an over exposed picture?

Too much light, if you're doing that during the day you'll need an ND filter.

Hey Sonea Fifer has that case come? Does it have enough space for your camera and an extra lense too?

Hi there

Yes it's arrived, my camera fits in quite snugly with the lens attached and there's quite a few little pockets which I'm using to keep my spare battery and spare SD cards:

While I can't complain about the quality and build of this particular bag I think you'd struggle to keep another lens safe and secure in it. If that's what you're after then I'd consider looking for another larger bag. Having said that I've just ordered the NX2000 which my OH will be mainly using as she's interested in learning more about photography.. :p

Thanks for the review, for £10 it's a bargain! I'm still playing with my camera, getting used to manual mode. Must the fn system us very easy to use :-)

I went for the tuf luv case, it's a lot bigger than the duragadget one and has compartments. Just need a spare battery, official ones are £30!

Can I get a third party flash for the NX1000? I'm finish I'm indoor low light areas when using the flash the pics come out over exposed.

Thanks :-) yes I did but find its inconsistent. Sometimes pictures are over exposed or under. I've tried puttinga rizla paper oover the flash to diffuse it but it doesn't work.

Direct flash indoors is the devil!

I'd much rather see high ISO noise than direct flash lighting at low ISO, diffusing it will only have a limited affect.

One thing you could do to combat it is use one of these, then just point the flash towards the ceiling or a wall and use it as a bounce flash.
