You completely overshadowed the original point of the thread with your over the top hissy fit. Also by quoting every off topic post and berating the poster you are continuing to de-rail the thread single-handedly, nice one guv :)
 
personally i thought the point of classically trained pianist was just background into trent reznor - i personally didn't know this til i read the thread but clearly this sort of information bothers some people more than others and i've been a fan for quite a while.

I wouldn't even know how to work classically trained pianist into a conversation if i was talking about NIN, maybe something like

"hey he played hurt pretty well on the piano"
"yeah, didn't you know - he's a classically trained pianist"

i think that would be a pretty fair comment in reality.

I was a bigger fan of pretty hate machine - when i first got into them, i was a bit reserved about the name but once i started listening i loved it, mainly because i love electronically generated sounds and PHM is full of them.
