Nintendo DS and wireless problems

I've just being trying to setup my new wireless router, it's a wgr614 netgear router. Now i've a couple of questions, regarding the setting up on a nintendo ds. Now my wired pc is working fine at this point.

Now i'm totally new to the wireless setup, have i missed anything on the setup side? I've changed the default name, removed ssid broadcast, setup a wep key and setup the mac address list. The router supports WAP but the ds doesnt, is that right?

Also, what's this router radio thingie?

Hi m8, u will need ssid broadcast for the DS to see your router, it does support at least wep as I set one up on mine over christmas for the grandchildren, once it sees the router you will need to enter your long key.
