Nintendo Wii

should be £150,

and yep, probably will buy one. Loving the originality of the ds games, wii looks set to improve on that.

Plus loved my n64.

Anything 150 or under and it'll be an instant purchase, anything over will make me think about it being within slapping distance of a 360.

We shall see.

Price is immaterial to me...will be buying one even if it cost's more than the
Premium 360.

Havent been this excited about a console since the SNES.

Snap!

The 360 and ps3 really haven't interested me, yes some of their games look pretty but it ends there for me.

For me, the Wii is bringing something new to gaming.

If you got £170 from reading that bbc article then... well... let's just say your're missing somthing. :)

No, there was an advert for it on in the states saying it was going to be $299.

If it's £150 I think i might just have to purchase one, i'll have to have a look at the release games first though. No point in getting a new console if theres no good relesae games for it.

i hope i'm wrong, but personally I can see the initial buzz of the way you play games on the wii will lead everyone to think its the best thing since sliced bread. But after a few months I can see the novelty wearing off. Still not decided if i'm going to get one yet.

If anything I would say the opposite is more likely to happen, ala DS. Developers will start off making gimmicky games for it just for the sake of using the new control system. After a while I imagine we will start to see some genuinely innovative games from small and large developers.

So, how did you get £170?

No UK price has been confirmed yet, although everything seems to be pointing at between £150 and £170.

TBH the novelty wore off after about 15 minutes.
