NIP for reg spacing

It must be an extremely heavy number plate to need three screws. And so unlucky to accidentally change an eleven into a H in the process.

Indeed and the front number plate was just as heavy and the guy fitting again made the 11 look like a H :)

And the spacing is all wrong as well.

Spacing looks fine, just the screw cap that's an issue.

It shows an inherent lack of respect for the most basic law and regulations. And often done in the pursuit of "looking cool" which is just a bit embarrassing.

Often mis-spaced plates are then coupled with dodgy placed screws and so on. Therefore the fun has been spoilt by the worst offenders and now everyone has to pay the price. Luckily 99.9% don't care.

I do wonder whether they've actually drilled a 3rd screw into the chassis, or if it's some kind of surface/short screw that's only just gone through the number plate.

Similar to dash cam footage, there should be a place that the public can upload a photo of, and have the police send a fine to the owner.

Neigbours now got a plate that starts M6, and they have placed the attachment screw on the bottom left vertical of the six, so it looks like M5 or even MS,
which give unreleased/illegal plates (according to eurocarparts) - definite scope for improved AI on the police ANPR to spot these.

I saw an X5 the other day with C11UMP, black screw cap between the ones. The wife just said ‘t***’
