So near enough two weeks ownership has passed. Putting in my Audi TT 225 for this was defiantly a step in the right direction.
The RWD has taken some getting use to, however lessons to be learnt and the ESP kicking in have made great fun trying to handle this car. I have been told this car comes out of its own shell during the summer months and dry roads are ahead!
On the road the 350Z feels extremely grippy, there are four performance tyres fitted and the car feels well balanced. The biggest grin comes from the 350Z engine noise: a genuine burble of a V6. The 3.5 litre engine is pretty thirsty on petrol; however on my daily commute I can average 19 – 22mpg which is a fair return. 0 – 60mph is I believe is touch over 5 seconds, not the quickest off the blocks, but is ample for a young driver like myself.
The body kit is remarkably subtle, and well built. There is enough ground clearance for daily driving, speed bumps have not been an issue but have yet to be tested in a multi-storey!
The interior of the 350Z is somewhat of an upgrade to the Audi. The seats are far superior snugly fitting when you are pushing through the bends and for such a low mileage car you can still smell the freshness of new leather
The car is fitted with a DVD- satellite navigation system, as I have been informed at an additional £1,200 factory cost. I have yet to use this as I am waiting upon an updated disc from the dealer – however it appears to be well built and will come in useful.
The sound system is second to none, there are speakers literally everywhere. There is an upgraded Bose system installed and the one behind the driver seat is incredible.
Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase the car seems to have real road presence and have had several passing comments.
So on to the good part the pictures
