Nivea After Shave Balm - changed for the worse

I'm 30 and I can't even grow a goatee.

I also have a half inch gap between where my hair ends and my sideburns start. Not good for someone with a no.1 all over

:(

Loreal Men Expert hydrating balm is what I use post shave and in general (I get dry skin around the hands mainly from doing DIY stuff around the house a lot so constantly having to wash them of grease/woodchips and so on etc).

I have used Nivea one and rate the Loreal one much higher, it has a more neutral fragrance but feels less sticky and absorbs quickly.

The hair on my neck looks normal enough but it grows in a circular pattern which makes shaving with the grain impossible. This leads to ingrown hairs which just aren't pleasant. I usually use any after shave lotion but the wife picked me up some 'King of Shaves' stuff and it's wonderful. Can get it at boots.

The best after-shave balm I've ever used was from either Lush or Bodyshop (I can't quite remember but I think it was the former) which I borrowed off a housemate when my face was on fire. Nivea Sensitive I decided was pretty poor quality around the same time - basically, it never did what it was supposed to. However, the 'Lush' balm in question is quite pricey for what it is.

The Original Source after shave balm is the one I'm using at the moment which you can pick up really cheap from the likes of Wilko's and it works well enough in my opinion.
