NK vs USA

Just popped up on my Sky News app that NK has fired a balistic missile, report is coming out of a SK news outlet.

Exploded after a few seconds on launch again according to Yonhap News though CNN say it landed in Sea of Japan.

This is Kim Jong Un's 75th test since he's been in charge.

Surprised in a way at the lack of success given that Iran supposedly perfected the tech after acquiring the missiles from NK and supposedly fed back the know how - maybe Iran are no more interested in NK having actual working long range ballistic missiles than anyone else.

Last few tests, plenty of reports that the missiles have flown for a while before "terminating" conflicting with alternate reports of "instant failures". Tricky to know who to believe and how much control NK has once these things are launched.

That's always the problem with these things. There will be (anti?)propeganda from the UK and US governments. The general public will never get the full picture on either our side or the NK side.

Makes you wonder if the US has got some sophisticated malware in their launch systems. Also makes you wonder what they could have done to Chinese and Russian launch systems that they dont know about.

No one would be stupid enough to not have safeguards for this.

ever thought that NK themselves are detonating them before they become a risk to anyone ? They could simply be testing the launching ability

exactly my thoughts. they tested lets say the launching ability, then after they got the results they needed they "make it malfunction". they get the information they want. and don't alarm USA as much as say the missile flown for miles and been a "success".

Russia uses their own OS (IIRC customised version of Linux) for their military OS which has been stripped to the bone so realistically no chance of a hidden rootkit, etc. and likewise they examine the firmware of any hardware used on a byte by byte basis and/or create their own version of the firmware. No idea on what China does.

Hes probably bored of using AA guns to kill people and now he's strapping them to the rockets so he gets 2 for 1's. Tests his launching ability and kills people in style.

Where's the proof these missiles were even launched?

The US is most likely setting the groundwork to justify military intervention. Not at all dissimilar to the Iraq invasion in 2003.

They've sent masses of hardware/troops to South Korea and the waters around it, they're going to do something, because leaving Kim to his own devices is not an option any more.

Maybe that is what they have been doing lol

The US ships are off the coast of where they are launching them from, in the sea of Japan. They could melt the rockets from 100s of miles away with a powerful laser and NK would be non the wiser.

While not proof they've actually been tested you can see in Russian/Asian news sources via Asian sources that have connections to NK claims of missile tests sometimes ahead of it being reported by Western organisations/US military sources.
