No access to External HD

Hi there,

Ive recently got a Lacie external HD enclosure. Using it with 160GB SATA HD.

It shows up in device manager but not in my computer. I cant see to explore the drive or even get chance to format it.

Anyone got any ideas what could be going wrong?

Does it show up in disk management? (control panel/admin tools/computer man/disk man)

Go to control panel, admin tools, computer management, storage and see what shows you? Hopefully a disk without a drive letter assigned

No drive letters assigned. All sorted now. Thanks very much guys
