no audio

until this morning anything I played had audio, but anything captured of my screen now has no audio, I use ZD Soft Video Recorder
for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.

i downloaded a trial of this as a test, BSR Screen Recorder.http://www.bsrsoft.com/downloadBSR.asp
still no audio.
but everything else still plays perfectly.

Check what's selected in sound recording options and make sure it's WAVE or something.

There's 3 codec options WMV, DIVX and Xvid, before today any option worked, now any choice i use does the same. no audio.

Are you XP? If so go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, click on the audio tab, click the "volume" button and make sure WAVE is selected. Vista may be similar.

If you olnly have CD Input, Microphone etc in the box that comes up go to Options -> properties and tick it's box.

I'm on stupid vista, hopefully a new xp os will fix this.

Vista does not have the Wave option, just stumped a pc expert, why is it not there.
