No Audio

hi guys i cant get any audio from my rig

im a bit of a noob as this is my first rig

ive got the audio wire plugged into the right place on the mother board

i think im having driver issues

if anyone could assist me that would be great

i can confirm that hd audio is selected in bios and ive plugged into that on the motherboard

but i cant get audio to the front audio jack or back 1s

Did you install soundmax, and configure it for 5.1 or 7.1 sound?

ok update ive intsalled sound max and now i have sound, but only in 1 earphone though

the anted 300 input feels dodgy really stiff to get in my headphones
any ideas why only earphone would be working ?

is it the same at the back? (i.e. only one channel output to your earphones)

Putting in the motherboard cd and installing all the drivers on it would be the first thing to do.

Sound in one ear means drivers messed up, damaged socket, damaged headphones, or only plugging the headphones in partway. Plugging it into the green socket on the back to try that is a good call, otherwise I'm voting for you haven't plugged them all the way in

sorted it had audio connector wire was slightly loose on motherbord

oh my god crysis is unbeliveable the graphics
