No available User Profiles to log on to?

Hi there,

I have had a problem going on with my laptop the last day or so, basically had a BSOD at startup where by i could not enter Safe mode or anything to sort it out.

Decided to do a partial system restore by pressing F11 at startup, let it run today, now I have no user profiles to log on to at the Windows welcome screen.

Is there any way of creating a new user profile without getting to the desktop? Im using XP Service pack 2.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you know the administrator password, press ctrl-alt-delete twice and it will come up with the classic logon screen where you can put the administrator account in along with the password if you know.

Or you could try with your profile name instead of the administrator one.

Thanks for the reply, had a go at that but neither the admin account or my account had a password on before this problem, is there any other way around this?
